Electrical shock and burn is a very common injury. Carefull attention to all electrical cords, outlets and electrical devices is important when you have a crawling baby or toddler. All outlets should have replacement safe plates or box covers. Power Strips and electrical cords should also be protected.
Tip: NEVER set your childs video or baby monitor on the crib. The child can pull the electrical cord into the crib without your knowledge. Mount your camera on the wall well out of reach. Place baby monitors under the crib (you’ll hear every squeek and squak still).
